Returns
Returns are accepted within 15 days of receipt. Returns received after 15 days will be refused, and no refund credit will be given.
By returning a purchase for refund, you agree to the terms outlined below, inclusive of all applicable restocking fees. Trying out a laptop within 30 days or finding a better price somewhere else does not exempt buyers from being charged a restocking fee. All parts in the item are serialized and tracked. If we determine that the buyer has serviced the unit and/or parts in the unit have been removed or replaced, the unit warranty will be voided, and a 100% restocking fee will apply to your return.
Software Returns
- No refunds on registered or opened software.
- Unregistered software may be refunded with a 20% restocking fee.
Lenovo Product Returns
Lenovo Support number is 800-426-7378.
Before returning your unit, please try the following to resolve your issue:
- Reset the system to factory settings.
- Update BIOS, drivers, and apply all Windows updates via Lenovo Vantage.
- To avoid restocking fees, keep your unit and contact Lenovo Support for warranty repair.
- Depot Warranty: Lenovo will pick up, repair, and return your device (typically within 3–4 days) at no additional cost.
- On-site Warranty: A Lenovo technician will visit your location for repairs at no additional cost.
Return Instructions for Lenovo Products
If proceeding with a return:
- Use FedEx or UPS (not USPS).
- Include all original packaging, documentation, and accessories.
- Double-box the shipment to prevent damage.
Returns are inspected and credited within 48 hours. If the return is not DOA, a restocking fee will apply. See restocking fees below.
Restocking Fees
If you are returning your Lenovo unit in its original sealed packaging, please don't wait. Send back your unit(s) as soon as possible. This will help to minimize your restocking fee on the return.
Return Conditions
Note: Shipping costs are calculated to and from the buyer's order location.
- Manufacturer-sealed units are charged 2% per day (up to 30%) + shipping costs.
 
- Opened units in original condition are charged a minimum of 25% + shipping costs.
 
- Opened items not in original condition: 30–50% + shipping costs.
Restocking fees for opened units not in original condition are derived from the following:
- Time elapsed - how long you have had the item from receipt to return
- Wear and tear - oils from hands, dings, scatches of any kind, discolorations
- Missing parts or packaging - any parts or packing items not returned with the item
DOA Condition
Defective items are defined as dead on arrival (DOA) or having consistent issues (e.g., screen failure, power outage) within 30 days of receipt. Please report a DOA condition within 3 days of receiving your item.
